Hi, I'm Mitch, the creator of OT Draw

I studied Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney and worked as an OT in hospitals and community settings around the St George and Sutherland areas.

I have always been drawn to home modifications because of the practical difference they can make, helping people live at home with dignity.

Through my work, I saw the need for drawing software designed specifically for Occupational Therapists. I created OT Draw to take the hassle out of home modification drawings, with practical tools for the recommendations we make every day.

That same purpose led me to develop OT Draw 3D. I wanted to give OTs more freedom to work through a design and show what they are proposing: how a ramp meets a landing, how stairs change direction or where a rail sits within the home.

Creating drawings in three dimensions lets you explore those details from different angles. Photo Match takes this further, helping clients visualise proposed modifications against a photograph of their own home.

For me, OT Draw has always been about supporting the work OTs do. As the software develops, the goal stays the same: making home modification drawings easier so you can focus more of your time on your clients and their goals.
